This very cool 4 band bill was well worth the money. The show started out with Breaking Benjamin. I never heard of them until I knew they were opening for Evanescence. I scooped the cd, and was pretty excited to hear it live. And they sounded great live. Their last song was So Cold, which has this kinda Tool sound to it, had the crowd singing, I love that song. Great band to start things off with. If you like this type of music, I suggest checking them out.
Seether put on a good show. They played cool songs like 69 Tea, Fade Away, Gasoline, and ended the show with Fine Again. The highlight was with Amy Lee coming out and doing a duet with her boyfriend Shaun Morgan, Broken.
Three Days Grace were awesome. Their cd is cool from start to finish and live made it that much better. Live, they sound much more aggressive, which didn't come out on the cd. "Let You Down" sounded so fucking good, and "Just Like You" and "Home" were alot of fun, they ended the show with "I Hate Everything About You" which had the crowd on their feet and yelling the lyrics. I think everyone can relate to that song.
Three Days Grace
This was the second time I saw Evanescence. First time was in Montreal cause they weren't coming to Ottawa, then 6 months later, they come. My luck...but at least I got to see them twice. The shows were pretty identical, except in Montreal, Finger Eleven and Seether opened. Amy Lee's vocals sounded great, and she showed off her piano talents in My Immoral (here come the tears) and covered Korn's thoughtless (check it out), with a little piano groove to pick things up after My Immortal. Being a huge Korn fan, it was a very cool version of this song. Evanescence put on a great show which they encored with Whisper. My final note.... Amy Lee is hot
